Man, we have been busy!

I know we have been a little MIA the last few months since the first blog post. We have had some family emergencies that we have had to tend to. But I do believe we are back in the full swing of things.

I (Roxie) have also started going back to college this last term of summer and will hopefully be finishing up in a few semesters. We have been busy these last few weeks trying to get a few things done around here on the farm.

Since the last post we have added some chickens, and had a few bunnies added. We have also decided to start our very first farm stand which sets up in Whitesburg and we will be setting up on Friday's. This past week was our first day and I am so happy with how things went. I feel like this could really turn into something that we can grow as a community. I enjoy being able to set up and see everyone as they come. A few things that we have offered is some of our hand made soap samples, some freeze dried candy, eggs, bread, and we are hoping to add some fresh bagels this week and have them early enough for people who work can stop and get some fresh bagels on their way.

We will also be adding a few things along the way. This past weekend we also robbed our bees and so we will be having honey added this weekend.

Things are starting to pick up around here on the farm. We were late getting things in the ground while also having to fight the squirrels. So hopefully things will be in our favor the rest of the year.
